Welcome to the Fredericton Snooker Club. We hope you will look at your membership in this club as more than a place to come and play snooker. The FSC is dedicated to the cause of good sportsmanship and camaraderie. We hope that you develop friendships here. Some volunteer work for the club will be asked of you from time to time. -- Membership levels -- 1) Full Members - this is made up of 36 people who play in a league from September to May. These members pay dues twice a year and have shares in the club of $200. The shares represent ownership in the club’s assets (tables) 2) Associate Members - An additional approx. 20 persons who pay an annual fee of $100, spare in the league, are entitled to join into club tournaments (singles and doubles) and can drop by anytime during non-league time to play snooker. 3) Guest Member - You might have been a Full Member or a Associate Member in the past, are not an active club member, not a spare. limited website access. We probably have stats in relation to your previous play with the club. -- Casual Play -- Hours: Mon - Fri 9 AM - 8 PM (Doors are locked at 8 but can play to 10) Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM Sunday 12 AM to 5 PM All persons are to sign in. A payment is made through an honour box where you write your name down on a ledger and put in $5.00 for up to a three hour session Players are entitled to play for up to three hours and can repeat play for an additional 3 hour session if no one is waiting. All members (Full members and Associates) are encouraged to accommodate players who drop in by letting them join in if the tables are full. There are different regular snooker events each week. Peter Clark has a regular group that plays on Thursday morning and keeps two tables reserved. Please contact Peter if you wish to join in. There is a regular ‘golf game’ which runs on Saturday from 12 noon to 5 PM which is open to all. There will be doubles and singles tournaments to sign up for during the year. Also a summer league may occur. Spares are rotated each week and if sparing for the league there is no cost to play. -- Club Conduct Rules -- ● No foul language. ● It is expected that any fouls committed on the snooker table are called by that person committing them. ● No pets. ● No vaping. ● Tables are to be brushed down after play and covers put over the tables.
